Red Rock is an unincorporated area located 35 miles from Tucson and just outside of Marana, Arizona. It was mostly made up of agricultural land until Pulte homes build a subdivision in the early 2000s. Now over 2000 people call Red Rock home, and commute to Tucson for work.
Red Rock is also home to the Saguaro Power Plant and the Saguaro Solar Power Station - a 1 MW solar trough concentrating power plant.
On average, there are 292 sunny days per year in Red Rock. Arizona’s solar capacity is expected to double in the next 5 years so join us in the renewable energy movement. Photo Voltaic Panels are now more affordable than ever! Most of our home solar customers in Red Rock can save over 20% the very first month and over $50,000 over the 30+ year lifespan of their solar panel system.
